Staff Accountant – Real Estate National Realty Corporation is looking for an accountant to join our team. If you have solid general accounting experience, you don't need a real estate background to apply. We're happy to teach you the property side. What You'll Do Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for your assigned properties Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations Check tenant leases to make sure rent, CAM charges, utilities, and other recoveries are billed correctly Process security deposits, move-ins/move-outs, and related lease adjustments Help prepare CAM and real estate tax reconciliations and tenant billings Support budgeting and forecasting for property operations and capital projects Maintain fixed asset schedules and track capital projects Follow internal controls and accounting policies Work with property managers, leasing teams, and leadership to resolve tenant and vendor questions Assist with audits, tax filings, and lender reporting Provide financial analysis to support acquisitions, sales, and refinancing What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of accounting experience in any industry (real estate or property management is a plus, but not required)

Experience with accounting software; property management systems like Yardi, MRI, Infor, or App Folio are helpful, but we'll train you on ours Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines Clear, friendly communication skills Nice to Have

Experience with CAM reconciliations, real estate tax, or utility billing Familiarity with commercial or residential leases Why Apply? Your accounting skills transfer directly to this role.
