Position: EARLY INTERVENTION Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 3 days per week

Speech Language Pathologist

Hourly Rate: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour

Location:

Ridley, PA / Woodlyn, PA and possibly Springfield, PA

Onsite – Services must take place in person at the locations

Position Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide in-person speech and language services to seven school students in and around Ridley/Woodlyn and possibly Springfield, PA totaling approximately 3 days per week. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and hearing disorders while supporting students in meeting and exceeding the Pennsylvania Learning Standards. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and deliver effective, compliant educational services.

Key Duties:

  • Provide speech, language, communication, and hearing services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and annually review IEPs; participate in Child Study Team meetings and parent conferences
  • Maintain accurate records, therapy data, evaluations, reports, and required documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, outside agencies, and related service providers; recommend assistive technology and communication supports as needed

Requirements

Education:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

Licenses &

Certifications:

Valid Pennsylvania Educational Services Certificate and Speech Language Specialist board license

Skills:

Ability to evaluate, provide therapy, and develop strategies for the prevention and remediation of speech, language, and hearing disorders

Knowledge of child development, learning assessment, diagnosis, special education requirements, and current regulations

Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Proficiency in using technology and maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
