Job SummarySupports production teams by optimizing processes, improving quality, and assisting with equipment layout or troubleshooting.
Major Accountabilities- Process Improvement:
Assist in identifying bottlenecks, improving workflow efficiency, and implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives. - Documentation & Standards:
Update standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and PFMEAs. - Production Support:
Troubleshoot equipment, support new product launches, and assist with assembly line setups. - Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities. - Tools & Layout:
Assist with CAD design for fixtures, tooling, or plant layout changes
- Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD). - Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. - Knowledge:
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, 5S, and Lean concepts is often preferred
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, company and plant rules, policies and procedures.
- Must use or wear personal protective equipment and certain clothing as required by the company.
