Product Safety Engineer

Electrolux Group is seeking a Product Safety Engineer to ensure our innovative home appliances meet the highest global safety and compliance standards. In this role, you will lead safety risk assessments, define and validate safety requirements, and coordinate testing and certification for new and existing products. You will partner closely with design, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams to embed safety by design, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvement in a sustainability-focused, collaborative global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety assessments and risk analyses for new and existing home appliance products in manufacturing environments
• Develop, review and maintain product safety standards, test plans and compliance documentation to meet global regulations
• Plan and execute safety testing, validation and certification activities with internal labs and external agencies
• Investigate product safety issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with design, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams to integrate safety into product development
• Monitor evolving safety regulations and standards, and translate them into clear engineering requirements
• Support safety audits, compliance reviews and customer inquiries related to product safety
• Provide training and guidance on product safety practices, tools and standards across global teams
