Unit Name:

Requirements:
Must have a valid TN RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
Minimum 2 year of Med/Surg experience
Certifications
Required:
BLS (required), ACLS preferred but not required
Must Have:
Basic Med/Surg experience
Experience with post-op patients, especially ortho
Procedures Performed on Unit:
Blood transfusions
IV and central line maintenance
Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 27 on each floor
Patient Ratios: 5:1
Unit Staffing:
Unit secretaries on day shift; techs on all shifts
Equipment:
Computers on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allyn vital sign machines
Documentation System:
Medhost (transitioning to Meditech on April 19th)
Scheduling Requirements:
3 shifts per week
Every other weekend
Floating Policy:
Will float between MS2 and MS3
Patient Experience Requirements:
Provide compassionate, attentive patient-centered care
Express Healthcare Staffing of Nashville Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
