Job SummaryEnsure that internal and external customers are supplied with all required materials and supporting documentations.
Major Accountabilities- Responsible for "on time delivery" of products inside facility.
- Communicates openly with others, keeping them informed of issues and progress, shares job knowledge and works effectively with others.
- Performs forklift safety inspection daily.
- Operates material‑handling equipment in a safe manner.
- Identifies products and bins with labels and tags.
- Uses scanners to accurately report material movements.
- Notifies supervision of any safety, quality, materials and mechanical issues.
- All forklift drivers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production floor.
- Comply with Health and Safety Act (use or wear all protective devices, report hazards and accidents/incidents, etc.).
- Abide by all company policies including, but not limited to:
Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook. - Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
- Forklift license.
- Metal stamping, welding, assembly, quality, and material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive Tier 1 experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Problem solving skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- GHS.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001: 2015.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949.
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management.
- Frequent distractions and interruptions.
- Multiple demands in a challenging and fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Noisy environment.
