Shipping Team Member – Bath Fitter Tennessee Plant

As a Shipping Team Member at Bath Fitter's Tennessee Plant, you'll play a key role in preparing products for delivery, operating forklifts, staging shipments, and ensuring our premium acrylic bathtubs and shower systems are ready to reach customers across the region.
This role is essential to keeping our operation running smoothly and delivering the high‑quality products Bath Fitter is known for.
- Full‑time position (Non‑Exempt/Hourly)
- Starting at $19.38 hourly, with a wage increase after 3 months

- Prepare and review daily shipping schedules
- Stage products for shipment based on delivery routes
- Operate a forklift to load and unload transportation trucks
- Locate shipment staging areas and organize outgoing orders
- Verify shipments, piece counts, and bill of lading documentation
- Transfer shipping documentation to carriers
- Identify and stage tubs by customer number, size, and skirt
- Use barcode scanners and picking slips to prepare orders
- Nest and package tub liners and accessories for shipment
- Transfer accessories from the stockroom to staging areas
- Weigh items and maintain accurate shipping logs
- Load outbound shipments and manage return loads
- Enter production and shipping data into computer systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift operation experience
- Warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read shipping documents and verify order details
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to use measuring devices and tape measures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 125 lbs.
- Ability to work in environments with moving equipment, humidity, and heat
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office or ERP systems (Navision) is a plus
