You will be based in our Springfield, TN location. This shift will start at 2:00pm and end 12:30am Monday-Thursday. This role supports the production line and will follow production needs.

Your main tasks:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and monitors processes to assure proper application of fabrication standards.
• Functions as a team member and contributes as much as possible to team projects.
• Uses judgement to check parts for imperfections. Performs troubleshooting processes and minor preventative maintenance on machines.
• Safety checks and lead checks. Start and Stop press, loading jobs in press, "Tie in" and "Untie" die in press
• Load a coil of steel, adjust straightener, make steel alignment changes. Rake scrap without tripping the safety lights;
  Increase/decrease amount of lubrication being applied to the steel
• Coil identification and feeder accelerations. Use Micrometer/calipers, wench operation, HMS Controls

Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.
• Required to pass Lock out/Tag Out prior to job bid
• Must be Yellow Gear or obtain within the 6 months completion of basic skills
• Follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications and schedules.
• Operates machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.

Physical Demands:

• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
