Fabrication Operator

Altor Solutions seeks a Fabrication Operator to support production of custom protective packaging and insulation products. In this on-site role, you'll set up and operate fabrication equipment, monitor production, and inspect parts to meet quality, safety, and output targets. You'll read work orders, follow standardized procedures, and maintain accurate production records. Working within a safety-first, collaborative culture, you'll help improve processes, support continuous improvement, and contribute to innovative, sustainable solutions for diverse industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication and cutting equipment to produce protective packaging and insulation components to specification
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines, performing basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to safety and engineering standards
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and diagrams to meet daily output and quality goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with company safety and 5
• S standards
• Accurately record production data, material usage, and downtime in manual or digital systems
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and reporting protocols for hazards and incidents
