• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN performs angioplasties, implants pacemakers, and diagnoses cardiac conditions with invasive catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of coronary arteries
• Identifying blockages and assisting physicians during procedures while monitoring patient status at all times
• Conducting interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantations, and related diagnostic or therapeutic interventions
