Sales Support Rep

This position is accountable for assisting the Account Sales Representative in producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, and reaching

Lift items ranging from 15lbs. (a case of 24 12-oz. cans) up to 162lbs. (one full keg) repetitively

Manual dexterity, coordination, and mobility

Combination of Driving/Moving/Walking Manipulate kegs up to 160 - 180lbs.

Travel required - ride in enclosed vehicle daily

Exposed to the elements (hot/cold temps, rain, snow, etc.)May have to get into cramped/small areas to reach work spaces

Role and Responsibilities Fill in for the Account Sales Representative when needed and/or to supplement the Account Sales Representative’s effort in implementation of approved Company programs and policies that will result in achievement of sales volume and merchandising goals while effectively presenting the Company’s brands to the retailer and the consumer

Learn and master the Structured Sales Processes to effectively mirror the efforts of the Account Sales Representative in monitoring and controlling inventory levels for each account to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards

Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales

Maintain current knowledge of all supplier brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities

Must be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma/GEDValid Driver's license

Driving record acceptable to the Company Proof of automobile insurance

Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required (weekends, nights, and holidays)
Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws2-5 years of related experience
