As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Springfield, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will help to deter security‑related incidents while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in caring, teamwork, and integrity.

Daytime Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do?
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and security‑related policies throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area violations, and/or operational disruptions according to post instructions.
  • Support incident reporting, shift handoff communication, and emergency response activities while working in a manufacturing and industrial environment with changing conditions and active equipment areas.
Minimum Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
