Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Clarksville, TN. The position offers weekly pay, a guaranteed base of $1,280/week, and benefits after 30 days. Drivers handle mainly single‑stop loads of auto parts in a 53’ dry van and may also perform drop‑and‑hook missions.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state transportation regulations.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight, and assist in loading/unloading as required by clients.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• At least 9 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience (within the past 3 years) or 2–5 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test.
• Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions and interpret laws and regulations.
