Independently perform a wide range of office management and staff officer support functions requiring vision, leadership, and proficiency in policy implementation and communication.
Responsibilities- Provide general and specialized administrative support to NGA offices and programs.
- Develop, organize, and disseminate information to diverse audiences (NGA, DoD, IC, federal agencies, Congress, media, public, international community, private industry) through briefings, read‑aheads, white papers, and other media.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, calendars, travel, and events; maintain files, organization charts, and electronic systems.
- Prepare routine correspondence, briefing materials, and presentations in accordance with NGA standards.
- Track and manage electronic action and tracking systems, ensuring timely completion of internal and external tasks; provide weekly status reports.
- Execute special projects, meet master schedules, and support program milestones.
- Maintain office supplies, initiate equipment trouble tickets, and coordinate office moves.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in office management or staff officer support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience providing administrative support for senior personnel, including filing, phone answering, calendar maintenance, and travel coordination.
- Experience working with executive-level clients in the Intelligence Community, NGA, DoD, or federal government.
- Strong problem‑solving and innovation skills.
- Ability to work independently under high‑visibility, deadline‑driven conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
- Experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Mission Execution Tracker (MET) for travel planning.
- Experience with People Soft.
