Office Management / Staff Officer - L3 - HDN-OMSO-0002 PD4:

Office Management/Staff Officer–Skill

Level3–HDN(NGA-W)

Duties Include:

  • Provideservicesasafocalpointforforeignlanguageandrelatedtesting.
  • Administerandproctortesting.
  • Ensurepropersafeguardingofdata,assistanceintheaccountabilityandmaintenanceoftheNGA Language Lab and testing room equipment,
  • Update People Softrecordsonallindividualswhotakethe Defense Language Proficiency Test  (DLPT), Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI), or DoD approved foreign language tests.
  • AdministertheDLPTforeligibleemployees,toincludefederalcivilianemployees,military personnel, and contractors, if applicable.
  • ScheduletheOPIwiththe Defense Language Institute ,when applicable
  • Completepersonnelactionrequests(PARs) forindividualswhoqualifyforforeign languageproficiencypay.
  • Collaborate with the other members of HDN and coordinate and collaborate with NGA Directorate sand

    OfficestoensuretheNGAforeignlanguage-testingprogrammeetstheirrequirements.
  • SupportHDNadministrationofprocessesfor:
  • SubmissionofPARafterreceiptoftestresults,where applicable
  • Updating People Soft records
  • Maintainingschedulestocompleteofficesuspense
  • Documentingreasonsfordelayandupdatingschedules
  • Marketingendeavorsincluderegularupdatingtrainingannouncementstowebpage, in-person attendance at NGA sponsored events(NST Conferences, New Employee Orientation, Deployer Conferences, and other briefings/office related meetings).
  • Back-upforNGAWestforcoursefacilitationtoincludeescortinginstructors, receiving, and distributing materials.
  • ResponsibleforregularlyupdatingHDN'swebsiteandcorrelativetraininglinks.
  • Roundtable Culture and Language Exchange Program (RCLEP) toincludemaintainingthe

    Wiki'sandblogsanddevelopingcollaborativesiteforeachgroup.
  • Serve as HDN's point of contact for the NAVIGATE NGA New Employee OrientationwillcollaboratewithNAVIGATEstafftoensureHDNPprogramsare presented to new employees
  • ResponsibleformaintainingHDNP'sEnglishenhancementwebpage
  • SupportHDNeffortsconcerningtheNGAHuman

    Geography efforts.
  • CollaboratewithmembersofNGA,DoD,andtheIConresponsetotaskers,toincludedatacalls metrics, corporate communications, business process improvement, strategic planning, andCONOPs
Required Skills:
  • Minimum
    12demonstratedexperiencetrackingandmanagingformaltaskers.
