ARC Specialist

Location:

Springfield, VA

• Support PERSEC and ARC programs and briefings.
• Maintain accurate data in People Soft, DISS, Rap Back, and SharePoint.
• Respond to inquiries and perform checks in internal and external repositories.
• Document actions in systems of record and maintain all ARC‑related files.
• Collect, investigate, and document ARC events and forward relevant information to adjudications.
• Ensure ARC actions are completed within mandated timelines and under 30 days for each case.
• Prepare ARC reports using established templates and update ePSF and investigations modules.
• Conduct and support Special Agency Checks for spouses/cohabitants.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a field related to personnel security.
• 3–6 years of personnel security experience in the DoD/IC.
• Experience reviewing SF‑85/SF‑86 and scoping.
• Ability to analyze repositories, including DISS/JPAS, Scattered Castles, NP2, eQIP, PIPS/CVS, SAVE, TIDE, NCIC, and FBI Name Check.

• Experience determining the classifiability of electronic fingerprint.
• Understanding of PII requirements for Special Agency Checks.
