Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) seeks a Supply Analyst II to support requirements in support of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). The role involves interpreting broad guidance on staffing and routing, developing executable supply‑chain management processes for PFPA directorates, and creating standard operating procedures. The analyst clarifies regulatory and policy changes, reviews recurring errors, and recommends deviations from regulations to higher headquarters.
The position also assists government personnel in developing administrative, file, office systems, process flows, and production schedules while facilitating policy development for document control and suspense management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for reviews.
- Analyze challenges in supply management, maintenance, and operations and automate manual accountability processes, including data entry, inventory document processing, and database transactions.
- Review, input, and manage property custodian DPAS postings and inventory schedules to ensure accurate compliance with FIAR and PFPA regulations.
- Complete all required online training for the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) within 30 days of entrance and obtain database access within 45 days.
- Develop and/or verify statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct research to resolve property‑accountability audit recommendations in a timely manner, protecting the Government’s interests.
- Develop logistics strategies and recommend changes to processes, assess and manage risks, enhance workflow, and create procedures to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
- Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, analyze requirements, and develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
- Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
- Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.
- Perform work under general supervision, handling moderately complex issues and referring more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
- Assist with developing and implementing SOPs related to correspondence preparation and other procedural areas.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Three (3+) years of experience in program/project management, financial improvement, audit readiness (FIAR), supply chain data analysis, preferably related to logistics, data analytics, property administration, and fleet management.
- Advanced understanding of Logistics, Warehousing, and Property Management to support PFPA Warehouse systems and infrastructure.
- Two or more years of progressive experience in facilities management, operations, or a related technical field.
- Recent experience (last 3‑7 years) leading, supporting, and providing integrated logistics management support and having managed three or more direct reports.
- Experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Experience producing, leading, integrating, and supporting asset and inventory management, supply chain defect management with DLA Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR).
- Must have a Secret clearance or higher.
- Military experience with a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in logistics.

Pay Range$80,000 - $85,000
