PRINCIPAL CONTRACT SPECIALIST - 505INCATech is searching for a Principal Contract Specialist to support the NGA. The role responsibilities include:
RESPONSIBILITIES- Post-Award Acquisition Support:
Provide advice, recommendations, and documentation support in all areas of the acquisition post‑award phase, including Contract Administration, Contract Modification Support, Delivery/Task Order Support, and Invoicing. - Assist with contract compliance regarding terms and conditions.
- Award/Selection Support:
Provide support to Contracting Officers and technical offices in all types of source selections, including formal, informal, and vendor screening processes. Duties include preparing Contract Award Documents and providing Award Acquisition Support.
- 6+ years of experience as a Contract Specialist or Contract Officer, managing federal acquisition packages and delivering on acquisition‑centric operational tempos.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Experience in either the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
- Expert knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Experience managing large and complex software development and installation contracts, inclusive of all CLIN types.
- Proficiency in contract writing and administration tools to perform Funding MODs, Admin MODs, and Change Orders.
- Excellent contract administration experience.
- DAWIA II and/or FAC‑C II certification.
- Strong business acumen and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superior customer service, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Self‑starter with high energy, capable of leading complex, long‑term initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Substantial financial analysis experience, including funding and invoice analysis, analysis of CPIF, CPFF, and FFP CLINS, and analysis of schedule‑based performance incentives.
- Experience performing comparative analysis of vendor terms and/or cost proposals with historical data to develop vendor selection recommendations.
- Experience performing Best Value Trade‑off, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, and awarding Sole Source determinations.
- Proficiency in using PRISM.
- Experience using network share drives for data management.
- DAWIA III and/or FAC‑C III certification.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
