Production Controller – Generator Program

• Plan and schedule work for facility technicians, including electricians, HVAC technicians, maintenance mechanics, and grounds maintenance personnel
• Review work order requests and coordinate scheduling with continuing maintenance requirements
• Coordinate work with required supplies and facility managers and trade discipline foremen
• Prepare weekly schedules for recurring maintenance and service orders
• Ensure trade shops are fully utilized and productive
• Maintain a six-week look-ahead schedule for shop work
• Compile and generate Facility Preventive Maintenance-related reports, records, statistics, listings, charts, graphs, and other information
• Conduct market research and prepare purchase requests for leadership approval
• Coordinate procurement of supplies and materials for preventive maintenance and customer service orders
• Accept customer service calls and create service orders
• Review incoming work requests and determine which jobs shops can accomplish based on priority methodology
• Interact with customers and advise them on work request status

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of experience; or 5+ years of experience with equivalent military production control or operations management training
• Experience with and robust knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures for operating, sustaining, maintaining, constructing, and repairing government real property
• Experience with and knowledge of supply and procurement procedures
• Strong customer service and communication and coordination skills
• Experience with and skills developing work plans and scheduling facility work
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• US Citizenship
• Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination

Demonstrates expertise in facility maintenance scheduling, procurement procedures, and customer service management, with a strong focus on coordinating work for technicians and maintaining compliance with government property standards.
