Our Back-Up Care (BUC) Nannies step in when a family’s regular childcare is unavailable—whether due to school closures, illness, work emergencies, or last-minute changes. We are seeking nurturing, flexible, and dependable caregivers to join our Back-Up Care team.
Position OverviewAs a Back-Up Care Nanny, you’ll provide safe, engaging, and professional care for children of all ages in their homes. Assignments are short-term or same-day and require adaptability to new family environments. This is an excellent role for experienced childcare providers who want flexible, rewarding work.
What You’ll Do- Provide attentive, high-quality care for infants, toddlers, and/or school-aged children
- Step into new household environments with confidence and professionalism
- Supervise play, activities, meals, naps, and routines
- Communicate clearly with parents and agency staff
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment at all times
- Minimum 3 years childcare experience (nannying, babysitting, daycare, or teaching)
- Flexibility and reliability—comfortable accepting last-minute or same-day assignments
- Warm, patient, and professional demeanor
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Reliable transportation to client homes
