The position involves scanning large-format engineering and architectural drawings using a high-capacity plotter/scanner. These documents are highly detailed and require careful handling and attention to quality throughout the scanning process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Scan large-format CAD and architectural drawings (up to 30" x 42") using a large plotter/scanner
- Ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness of scanned documents
- Handle original drawings carefully to maintain document integrity
- Organize and manage scanned files according to project standards
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and stay focused on repetitive tasks
- Comfortable handling large-format technical documents
- Prior experience with document scanning, CAD drawings, or architectural/engineering documents is a plus
- Reliable and able to commit to the full 2-month assignment
- Professional engineering and architectural office
- On-site position in Springfield, VA
