Duties Include:
- Providedetailedplanningandexecutionofinteriordesign,furniture,andart&branding projects
- MaintainNGAfurniture,art,graphics,branding,andbuildingsignageinventoryand finishstandardstoensureanynewlyspecifieditemsmeshwiththeexistingfacility’s décor.
Do not allow customers or individual employees to compromise the NGAaesthetic - Carefully coordinate with customers to understand their needs, and thoughtfully select furniture, fixtures, and equipment that ensure maximum durability for longevity, aesthetic value,life expectancy,functionalspacelayouts,andflowplanningtoenhance and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the workforce
- Preparedetaileddrawingsusing Computer-Aided Drafting(CAD) and3D-BIMrelated software showing color schemes, furniture,furnishing sand wall décor for all projects requiring interior design services
- Performarchitecturalsurveys,collect requirements,andinterfacewithgovernment project managers, building maintenance contractors, general contractors, or other personnel
- Maintainanup-to-datefacilitydepartmentmateriallibrarywithtrendingcommercial design industry product categories including furniture, fabrics, flooring, interior building products, interior finishes
- Maintainaphysicalanddigitalinventoryofexistingmaterials,products,and finishes for Operational & Maintenance (O&M) purposes
- DevelopandmaintainNGAinteriordesignstandards,processes,procedures,formsand documentation, to improve quality and efficiency
- Producefurnituredocumentation,drawings,specifications,criteriaandcostestimates. Utilize NGAIWMS platform to define andmaintainNGAfurniture standard
- WorkingtowardsNCIDQCertified Interior Designer
- MSorMAin Interior Design ,orBSorBAIn Interior Designwith2yearsof Commercial Design Experience
- Demonstratedexperienceinunderstanding/interpretingconstructiondrawingsin Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and IT trades
- Demonstratedexperienceutilizing
AutoCADand Revit - Demonstratedexperienceutilizing Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop,Indesign, & Illustrator)
- Demonstratedexperienceutilizing Microsoft Office Suitesuchasbuildingspreadsheets ,consolidating input across various offices, and edit/update as needed
