DescriptionARS is currently looking for a Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) SME in Springfield, VA.
The role requires employee pass background screening for SAP.
Responsibilities- Provide senior technical leadership for PNT/APNT and C5
ISRT-related analysis, technical requirements assessment, systems engineering oversight, acquisition lifecycle support, Agile development coordination, and risk management for emerging technology development efforts - Support classified technical reviews, prototype and experimentation planning, assessment of new and emerging capabilities, and coordination across Government stakeholders to ensure technical recommendations are feasible, traceable, and aligned to mission requirements

- Must be a US citizen
- TS/SCI clearance with ability to access SAP
- Leadership and Security:
Ten (10) years’ experience as a Chief System Engineer (CSE), or a Deputy CSE for a major technology program (or portfolio of programs) valued at over $100M to include experience providing leadership and oversight of complex technology design, manufacturing, integration, and/or test programs. - Eight (8) years’ experience in leadership capacity on classified programs at the SCI level or higher.
- Alternate Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT) Operational and Technical
Experience:
Eight (8) years’ experience in military tactics and technical methods focused on control and protection of Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) data in contested environments, to include role of C5
ISRT to support military operations. - Five (5) years’ experience of overseeing technical requirements and assessments for new and emerging capabilities.
- Development Lifecycle & Process Management:
Five (5) years’ experience executing activities in support of the DoD 5000 series acquisition lifecycle process. - Five (5) years’ experience using Agile Development processes.
- Five (5) years’ experience establishing and managing a formal risk management process for a technology development program.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline that is related to PNT and/or C5
ISRT.
- Military or DoW experience.
- C5
ISRT and C-C5
ISRT:
Eight (8) years’ experience with systems that integrate and analyze data from multiple sources and countering these systems.
