Systems Engineer - Expert

Expert-level Systems Engineers assist in leading engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National Systemof Geospatial -intelligence(NSG),Allied Systemof Geospatial -intelligence(ASG) and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.

• Assists the Governmentindirectingrequirementsengineering,solutionsengineering,scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainabilityand analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies.
• Assistswiththeplanning,analysis/traceabilityofuserrequirements,architecturestraceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• Advisesthe Governmentonproposedchangestothesolutionsdesignsbasedonanalysisof requirements andnew technology.
• Assists the Governmentinthecaptureandtranslationofmissionandcustomer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
• Supportstheanalysesandallocationofrequirementstosystemsarchitecturecomponentsand executing programs.
• Assists the Governmentinperformingsystemsintegrationactivities.
• Assistinleading Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs),Courseof Actions(CoAs),Trade Studies,and Engineering Assessments.
• Assists the Governmentinstrategictechnicalplanning,project management,performance engineering, riskmanagementand interface design.
• Providesexpertadvicetothe Governmentintheareasofrelatingvision,strategy,plans,needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.
• Operatesatthelevelofintegratingmultiple Major Systems Acquisitionsacrossorganizational , agency, department, and governmental/national boundaries.
• Overseesandcoordinatestheworkof Senior-,Mid-,and Junior-levelcontractor

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science,Information Technology,Management Information Systems ,orrelatedSTEM degree program, or related equivalentadditionalexperience.
• Expert-level experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including:
  
  DoD/ICAcquisition
  
  Process,Requirements Process,PPBESProcessorsystemsengineeringof large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environmentsresidingin cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
• Experience with andstrongunderstandingof systemsengineeringlifecycle.
• Master’sdegreeorhigherin

  Engineeringorinarelatedtechnicalorscientificfieldssuch as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science,Information Technology,Management Information Systems ,orrelatedSTEM degree program.
• Workingknowledgeof Model-Based Systems Engineering ,processes,toolsandlanguages.
• Software Development Frameworkcertification .
• Licensureasaprofessionalengineer.
• Membershipor leadershipparticipationinanyofthefollowingprofessionalorganizations:
• ACSM
• ASCE
• ASPRS
• OGC
• SAREM
• USGIF
• Extensiveworkexperienceinthefield ofgeospatialintelligence.
• Experienceengineeringsolutions using
  
  Cloud-basedtechnologies.
• Experienceengineeringsolutionsusingstructured and unstructured Big Data.
• Experienceengineeringsolutionsusing Automation,Augmentationand Artificial Intelligence technologies .
• Demonstratedexpertiseinphotogrammetry,remotesensing,image science,informationsciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
• DemonstratedknowledgeofthecurrentNSG/ASGandNROenterprises.
• PreviousNGAand/orNSG/ASGprogram/projectworkexperience.
