We are currently searching for a Top-Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Expert-Level Systems Engineer
.

The KPMO Space Systems Engineer provides advanced engineering support across all phases of the system lifecycle to ensure timely and accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT). This role involves a multidisciplinary approach to the development, integration, and sustainment of space-based capabilities within Controlled Access Programs (CAPs) and Special Access Programs (SAPs) across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) and the Department of Defense/Intelligence Community (DoD/IC).

Activities include requirements engineering, solutions development, systems reliability and resiliency, services deployment, R&D, systems integration, test and evaluation, and maintainability analysis.

• Must be willing to sign additional Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Must provide proof of Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) status for participation in KPMO program

Location:

This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, Virginia. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Master’s in Engineering and 18 years of experience, or PhD in Engineering and 10 years of experience in related technical or scientific fields (engineering, physics, mathematics)
• Experience with Integrated Protection Strategy (IPS) or integrating SSA applications
• Experience with space-related activities such as SOSI, BMC3, or orbital analysis
• Experience dealing with data at multiple classification levels and processing data at multiple classification levels
• Demonstrated experience with space enterprise information needs
• Experience with space environments such as space-to-ground or threat assessments of space assets
• Experience with physics models to analyze space weather effects and threat/damage analysis of space-based objects
• Experience with space object measurement
• Experience with NRO/SAO or AF SPO
• Understanding of MBSE processes, tools, and languages
