Job Description:
An Insight Global client is hiring an Operating Building Engineer for a 3-month contract to hire. This person manages work orders for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems daily with a heavy focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing these systems while performing preventative maintenance tasks in a warehouse/lab facility environment. They troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, conduct inspections, and respond to tenant service requests.
Complete accurate record-keeping and compliance with safety regulations are essential. Collaboration with team members to improve building operations and efficiency is expected, alongside occasional overtime work. This role will be a shift of 9:00am – 5:30pm, with the potential to change by a few hours at a time. Overtime is possible and occasional on call work is potentially required.
