Overview
Motion GEOINT Analyst to work in our Springfield, VA office. Motion GEOINT Analysts are involved in full-motion video (FMV) processing, exploitation, and dissemination, using FMV and persistent surveillance data formats.
Responsibilities- Provide real-time 24/7/365 motion video exploitation in a shift work environment.
- Provide analyses of targets of interest utilizing various platforms and not just FMV.
- Exploit multi-spectral, hyperspectral, infrared (IR), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and LiDAR imagery.
- View, exploit, record, and provide analysis of operational FMV missions in real time.
- Create storyboards and 360-degree graphics.
- Produce hands-on full-motion imagery analysis, generating intelligence to support customer requirements.
- Respond to tasking for imagery research and analysis by researching current and historical imagery from various sources to answer detailed mission-specific information requirements.
- Produce standard and non-standard imagery analysis products, such as motion imagery summary reports and tailored mission-specific products, including database remarks and daily briefings using software packages such as MAAS, IEC, Remote View, ARCGIS, and Falcon View.
- Deliver products including summary-type reports, detailed mission graphics, database remarks, ad-hoc reports, and daily briefings.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI indoctrination (TS/SCI), with the ability to obtain/maintain a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly).
- Ability to work a rotating PANAMA shift schedule (typically 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am), alternating days and nights each month, including weekends and holidays.
- High School Diploma and 3+ years of intelligence experience (e.g., SIGINT, HUMINT, Geospatial, All-Source); alternatively, a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field.
- Prior completion of a military Basic Intelligence Course.
- Formal Intelligence School coursework (typically 2+ months, full-time) resulting in an Intelligence MOS (e.g., All-Source, IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT).
- Thorough understanding of the basic intelligence cycle/process.
- Experience with TCPED—Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong abilities in the following: accuracy in high-tempo operations, following SOPs, color discernment on video screens, fast-paced work, clear communication, problem solving, prioritization, and teamwork.
- Basic understanding of National-level imagery product standards.
- Experience exploiting Full Motion Video with basic understanding of sensor capabilities.
- Experience exploiting national imagery with basic understanding of imagery analysis.
- Background in counter terrorism analysis.
