** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Accurately document patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR) in real time.
* Record patient histories, medications, allergies, review of systems, physical examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans.
* Document provider-directed diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and patient education.
* Enter provider-directed orders, referrals, imaging requests, therapies, and other treatment-related services.
* Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks that facilitate provider workflow and clinic efficiency.
* Coordinate and communicate with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams as appropriate.
* Adapt to physician-specific workflows while maintaining organizational documentation standards.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA, regulatory, and organizational policies.
* Complete required training and competency requirements necessary to perform assigned job responsibilities.
* Perform other duties as assigned in support of clinic operations.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in healthcare, science, or related field.
* Demonstrated interest in pursuing a healthcare-related career.
* Coursework in biology, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, exercise science, health sciences, public health, or related disciplines.
** Previous healthcare experience such as:
** o Medical Scribeo Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) o Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) o Medical Assistant (MA) o Athletic Trainingo Physical Therapy Aideo Clinical Researcho Physician Shadowingo Familiarity with medical terminology.o Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.o

Experience with Epic EMR preferred.o Typing proficiency of 60+ words per minute preferred.

Rarely  Compensation Range for this position:$16.37 - $24.55  Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
