ASRC Federal Data Network Technologies LLC AFDT) is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for its critical government contracts.

The NOC (Network Operations Center) and WNOC (Wireless NOC) form the backbone of CBP’s technological capabilities, enabling real-time monitoring, incident management, and operational continuity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. These services are not merely supportive – they are foundational.

Without secure and operational network infrastructure, CBP cannot function.

The CBP NOC/WNOC is staffed 24x7x365 with three (3) shifts of mid to senior level contract technicians. The facilities are located in Ashburn, Virginia, Springfield, Virginia, and in Orlando, Florida, and staffed as active/active operations centers. The primary NOC worksite is in Springfield & Ashburn, Virginia.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the planning, configuration, testing, and implementation of all operational changes to create the release package for the delivery of, or changes to, the designated service. Manages all aspects of the end-to-end release process. Ensures coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams (as applicable). Ensure teams follow the organization’s established policies and procedures.

Provides configuration management planning. Provides support to the configuration change Operational and approval process. Supports the quality assurance process audits. Provide management reports on release progress. Responsible for service roll out planning including method of deployment and plans communication implementation in coordination with the CBP Change Operational Process.

Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, Change Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.
  • U.S. Citizenship and/or current, active EOD (Entry On Duty) for a DHS Background check
  • A minimum eight (8) Plus years of experience in equivalent technical field
