Senior, cleared Software/Web Developer – supporting the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency.

• Support business and intelligence dissemination processes on NGA networks.
• Support production teams.
• Design intuitive user interfaces, charts, reports, navigation menus, and custom widgets.
• Write and review code for sites (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Integrate multimedia content on a site.
• Test web applications for usability.
• Ensure web compliance and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot problems with performance or UX.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Write documentation for website support and troubleshooting.
• Educate and train personnel on back‑end maintenance of applications.

• Coordinate with NGA customers and Service+ on issues, latency, changes, backups, and outages.
• Provide problem management and root cause analysis.
• Test updates via development servers before deployment.
• Provide adequate testing with impacted customers before releases/updates.
• Respond to site‑specific questions from the user base and provide front‑line technical support.
• Participate in meetings at least once a week for status updates and planning.

On‑site in Springfield, VA

• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced capability with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript (including jQuery, Vue.js) and server‑side CSS pre‑processing platforms such as LESS and SASS.
• Advanced capability with Git, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects), MAP Publisher, and Visual Studio.
• Effective communication skills and ability to translate mission requirements to systematic functions and vice versa.
• Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).
• Must adhere to standards, processes, and workflows.

• Experience with PHP, Python, C#, C++.
• Experience using NGA computer systems, non‑cloud web servers, AWS cloud, security, and the Enterprise computer network.
• Experience in software/web development in both government and commercial settings.
• Experience with relational database administration using SQL.
