Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer; PaaS Security Clearance

Position: Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS) with Security Clearance
** ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
** About This Role We're looking for a skilled Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team building and maintaining a large-scale Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability for an Intelligence Community customer. This is mission-critical work - you'll be helping teams across multiple security domains deploy applications and data services on a modern, cloud-native platform. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, working across teams, and making a tangible difference in national security, this role is a great fit.

What You'll Do
* Operate and maintain Red Hat Open Shift environments across multiple security domains - both in the cloud and on-premises (vSphere)
* Support key Open Shift frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat Git Ops
* Deploy Open Shift to new sites as the platform expands
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration needs and scale the platform accordingly
* Partner with Security teams to ensure compliance and build secure-by-design solutions
* Manage data services including Rabbit

MQ, Redis, Postgre

SQL, and the Elastic Stack
* Write clear, thorough documentation to support teammates and future maintainers What We're Looking For

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
* 5-8 years of developer or platform engineering experience
* Active TS/SCI clearance
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (one of the following):
Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Nice to Have (but not all required - bring what you have!):
* Hands-on experience deploying and managing Red Hat Open Shift in cloud or vSphere environments
* Familiarity with AWS
* Scripting skills in Python or Shell, and comfort with Git
* Experience with Linux (RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS)
* CI/CD experience using Git Lab CI or Jenkins
* Knowledge of container technologies - Docker, Kubernetes, and the broader CNCF ecosystem Why You'll Love Working Here

* Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $175-185k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
