What Impact You'll Have:We are seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator Advisor experience to join our team in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. Primary responsibilities include providing Tier II support and maintaining a large Enterprise environment spanning multiple security enclaves within a hybrid (Windows & RHEL) environment.
WhatYou'll Be Owning:
- System Administrative Advisory duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical
- Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance issues; investigate user performance and work with external teams to improve user experience
- Assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications
- Provide remote end user desktop support; identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with short‑term workarounds and long‑term solutions
- Respond to escalated service desk/team requests
- Communicate effectively (oral and written) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments
- Provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents; participate in special projects as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent education, training, or experience
- 8+ years of related systems administration experience
- TS/SCI Candidate must possess an appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification:
CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA‑Security (Security+ preferred) - Must attain DoD 8570 CE Training within six (6) months of hire date
- Experience and understanding of:
- Active Directory Administration, DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP, Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016
- Application troubleshooting (Outlook, Excel, Word, Java, Internet Explorer), Linux OS, Service Now, NETS, or other ticketing systems, ITIL v3 or higher
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Power Shell, VMware, Citrix, UEM, Microsoft Exchange, telephone/video support, networking, familiarity with site‑specific customer and mission environments
