Software Development Analyst
Security Clearance: TS/SCI required. An active clearance and the ability to obtain a CI Poly are necessary at the time of selection. The program launches early 2026 and involves classified work.
Salary Range: $70,018 – $180,000 (based on level).
Responsibilities- Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise‑wide systems and/or applications software.
- Plan system development deployment and ensure compliance with software standards.
- Evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
- Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
- Level 1 – 0 years relevant experience;
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. - Level 2 – 3 years relevant experience;
Bachelor’s degree. - Level 3 – 5 years relevant experience;
Bachelor’s degree. - Level 4 – 9 years relevant experience;
Bachelor’s degree. - Level 5 – 15 years relevant experience;
Bachelor’s degree.
- Security+ certification.
- Experience developing and maintaining Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer/Workflow.
- Experience with Service Now integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Ability to support ITSM‑based implementations and platform configuration.
- Experience with custom application development.
- 5–7 years of Service Now platform development experience.
- Proficient in Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer/Workflow.
- Service Now integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Agile development environment experience.
- Support ITSM‑based implementations and platform configuration.
- Custom application development.
- Clearance: TS/SCI required with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS‑ITSM)
- ITIL Foundation (V3 or V4)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Experience supporting Service Now ITSM implementations in federal or regulated environments, platform governance and backlog management, user acceptance testing (UAT) and release validation. Familiarity with CMDB, Incident, Change, and Request Management processes.
Physical Requirements- Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
