Warfare Systems (WS) is a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT, electronic warfare, and C5

ISR systems.

The SharePoint Content Administrator will support the Security and Counterintelligence Directorate, managing SharePoint and intranet sites, providing security administration, troubleshooting a globally dispersed IT enterprise, monitoring facility systems, managing Microsoft and third‑party application software, developing workflows, organizing content, and collaborating with stakeholders. The position is located in Springfield, VA and requires 100% onsite presence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage content, configure and customize SharePoint and intranet sites in accordance with local IT policy, build scalable web applications, write and modify code, and provide technical support.
  • Provide first‑look security system administration, account and report creation, maintenance of security permissions, auditing, and troubleshooting on systems such as SIMS ePAR and Service Now.
  • Assist the on‑site expert with facility monitoring systems including facility alarm systems, badge access control, and video surveillance.
  • Manage installation, configuration, lifecycle management, and inventory of Microsoft and third‑party application software.
  • Develop and manage workflows using SharePoint Designer or other tools to automate business processes.
  • Organize and manage content on SharePoint sites.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a Master’s degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years relevant experience.

TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire, with ability to obtain CI Poly.

Familiarity with SharePoint Designer and database management.

At least 3 years of experience building and implementing solutions using technologies such as SharePoint Developer, Info Path, Visual Studio, or similar software.

Experience collecting and delivering customer requirements as SharePoint solutions, conducting online technology and market surveys, and providing physical or telephonic desktop support to end users.

Independent troubleshooting and resolution of system errors, bugs, and configurations on database applications.

Demonstrated experience coding HTML with JavaScript and utilizing JavaScript libraries such as jQuery.

Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation and training materials for end users.

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with one or more of the following: facility alerting, access control, video surveillance, or alarm systems.
  • Associate‑level technical certification or formal training in Network Administration, System Administration, or related technology areas.
  • Knowledge and/or experience using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) and Outlook Web Apps (OWA) 10 as an enterprise platform for sharing and managing content, knowledge, and applications.
