Description Nelson Intelligence Solutions is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer to work onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our private cloud infrastructure and advancing our Dev Sec Ops  initiatives. • Design, implement, and maintain operational components in private on-prem clouds such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V
• Analyze processes to create and enhance operational workflows
• Be able to work closely with operational teams to build /improve cloud infrastructure
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools in the cloud
• Respond to alerts; troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Be proactive in recognizing and handling uptime and performance challenges
• Perform automating using infrastructure as a code
• Automate self-provisioning of resources and services for a Private Cloud Environment
• Configure and deploy containerized micro-service components
• Troubleshoot the system and provide root cause analysis
• Provide rotational 24/7 on‑call technical support

• 2+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows or Linux environments
• Experience working in private on‑prem cloud environments running VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper‑V
• Experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible
• Understanding of build/automation systems such as Jenkins or Git Hub Actions
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform and Packer
• Ability to automate workflows via scripting for self‑service
• US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field
