As an Audio-Visual Support Technician, you'll do more than set up gear — you'll be a key part of ensuring our national security mission is executed with clarity, precision, and professionalism.

What You'll Do- Be the go-to AV expert for events in the NCE Conference Center
- Coordinate with customers to plan and support events, resolving AV/IT needs before they become issues
- Run live events, managing sound, lighting, video, and presentation systems
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV/IT systems — including digital signage, video recording, workstations, and conferencing tech
- Train users on AV tools and provide real-time support during meetings
- Develop and document SOPs to support new team members and improve workflows
- Collaborate with Tier 3 support for complex issues or upgrades
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly
- 3+ years of AV/IT support experience (Associate's degree or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Hands-on experience with technologies like:
- AMX, Crestron, Extron systems
- Touch panels, production switchers, cameras, mixers, signal routing
- AV/IT connections, monitors, workstations (thick/thin clients), VoIP and VTC
- Ability to walk across campus and lift/setup AV equipment as needed
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows OS (Windows 7/10)
- CompTIA certifications: A+, Network+, Security+
- Experience in high-security environments or support for intelligence/community customers

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $100k-107k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
