The position is part of HII’s Mission Technologies division, Cyber and Intelligence team, supporting Enterprise‑Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high‑impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission‑critical systems and environments.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Service Now solutions aligned with business requirements and ITIL best practices.
- Develop and customize modules, applications, workflows, and integrations within the Service Now platform.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into effective, scalable Service Now configurations.
- Build and maintain custom scripts, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and automation workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, process owners, and cross‑functional teams to enhance platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deploy fixes and enhancements.
- Ensure documentation is created and maintained for configurations, customizations, and development work.
- Follow governance, security, and development standards to maintain a stable and compliant Service Now environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and platform features.
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions, Flow Designer / Workflow.
- Experience with Service Now/Salesforce/BMC Remedy/Jira integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Ability to support ITSM‑based implementations and platform configuration.
- Experience with custom application development.
- CSWF: 632‑Basic.
- 5+ years of Service Now (preferred), Salesforce, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management/Service Desk development experience.
- 2+ years of JavaScript development experience.
- Demonstrated experience with REST/SOAP API integrations, workflow automation design, and agile development.
- Desired experience: CMDB / CSDM aligned data models, Service Now Integration Hub, Service Now Service Portal or UI Builder; experience supporting enterprise‑scale implementations and prior de‑customization efforts.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS‑ITSM)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM (CIS‑ITOM)
- Service Now Certified Application Specialist – Performance Analytics or equivalent platform certifications (Salesforce, BMC, Jira).
