As the Virtual Desktop Engineer, you will support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment. You will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issues across the organization. Additionally, you will have experience in system design and integration, identity life‑cycle management, and process automation and improvement. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record designing and maintaining VDI in a large enterprise.

• Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.
• Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
• Offer endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.
• Maintain an advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure‑related technologies.
• Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Apply extensive technical expertise and have full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.

• Clearance Required:
  
  Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
• Requires Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience or a combination of experience and education.
• Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
• Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later.
• Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
• Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
• Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX.
• Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
• Citrix App Layering.
• Liquidware Profile Unity.
• Hyper V, VMware VDI (Microsoft or Citrix Net Scalers / ADCs).
• Familiar with HP Any Connect and Leostream.
• Intelligence Community Experience preferred.
• Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• System Center Virtual Machine Manager / VMware Vcenter 6.7.
• Active Directory / Group Policies.
• Home Directory and Profile management support services.
• Desktop Software provisioning and support services.

• Intelligence Community Experience preferred.
• Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• System Center Virtual Machine Manager / VMware Vcenter 6.7.
