Data Scientist, Senior

As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you will unlock insights from complex data sets, using machine learning and AI to solve global challenges across private and public sectors. You will work closely with clients, guiding teams and developing algorithms and systems that translate data into actionable intelligence.

• 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
• 5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualizations of targeted data sources.
• Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs.
• Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications and ethical AI considerations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline management.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL/No
  
  SQL.
• Experience with distributed data or computing tools, including Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.
• Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot

Compensation ranges from $99,000 to $225,000 annually, based on location, experience, and organizational needs.
