Summary
HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.
The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.

We are hiring across multiple levels with a range of professional experience. Below are the salary ranges:
Security Controls Accessor: $85,185 - $135,000
Sr. Security Controls Accessor: $104,738 - $150,000
What you will do
The Security Controls Assessor plays a critical role in evaluating, validating, and strengthening the security posture of information systems across the organization. This position is responsible for reviewing system security documentation, assessing the effectiveness of management, operational, and technical controls, and identifying vulnerabilities or deficiencies requiring remediation. The assessor supports incident response activities, evaluates new technologies for security risks, and produces comprehensive reporting to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and requirements.
What we are looking for
Engineer Info Assurance 2: 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Engineer Info Assurance 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
+ Technical understanding of Enterprise operating systems, components, protocols, and services (i.e., Windows, RHEL, Active Directory, ACAS, AV, etc.).
+ Demonstrated experience applying the Risk Management Framework to secure Enterprise information systems in the DoD/IC space
+ Developing and maintaining technical documentation, such as Security Assessment Reports, System Security Plans, Plan of Action and Milestones, Security Controls Traceability Matrices, etc.
+ Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start.
