Job Summary The Mid CMDB Administrator is responsible for assisting in the development, management, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the organizations ITIL framework. Responsibilities
* Configure and deploy Service Now Discovery across multiple networks to ensure comprehensive asset and service visibility.

* Implement and optimize Cloud Discovery to capture multi-cloud infrastructure components.

* Prepare and configure Service Mapping, ensuring application services are accurately represented in the CMDB.

* Fine-tune Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules to prevent duplicate CI records and improve data integrity.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to define discovery schedules, credential requirements, and best practices.

* Troubleshoot and resolve discovery issues, ensuring proper data ingestion into the CMDB.
* Work with ITSM and CMDB teams to improve data accuracy and maintain alignment with ITIL best practices.

* Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or

* Associate's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or

* High School Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience

* Hands-on experience with Service Now Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP).

* Strong understanding of Service Mapping principles and data modeling.

* Experience configuring and optimizing IRE rules for CI reconciliation.

* Strong scripting skills (Power Shell, Python, or JavaScript) for automation and troubleshooting.

* Active TS/SCI clearance

Skills and Abilities

* Ability to successfully obtain CI Poly

* Knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and infrastructure components.

* Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets within the CMDB.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.

* ** Preferred - Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or working towards a CMDB/Discovery certification.

* Preferred

- Experience with ITSM and ITOM modules in Service Now.

* Preferred - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

* Ability to think critically and solve complex issues

* Ability to work with other teams and stakeholders to ensure mission success
