Imagery Scientist - Senior Level (4) (10+ yrs experience) - NGA Springfield, VA
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
Clearance Level - TS/SCI
CI Poly Required immediately after starting
Required:- 4+ years of experience as a SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
- Experience with SAR imagery quality metrics and sensor metadata
- Experience exploiting SAR to determining the occurrence and location of OOI
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences about the availability and capabilities of SAR
- Exhibit an understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods
- Experience applying CV and machine learning to SAR imagery
