* The Opportunity:

Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad of application stacks and data services. Responsibilities:
* O&M of existing Red Hat Open Shift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments

* Support Open Shift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, Red Hat Git Ops

* Deploy Open Shift to new sites as they come online

* Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them

* Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions

* Support data services including Rabbit

MQ, Redis, Postgre

SQL, Elastic Stack

* Compile detailed documentation

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

* 5-8 years Developer experience

* Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following:
Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Desired:
* Experience deploying and managing Red Hat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment

* Experience with Amazon Web Services

* Python, Shell scripting, Git

* Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS

* CI/CD orchestration tools:
Git Lab CI, Jenkins

* Container technology:
Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
