This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5
ISR systems.
HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting‑edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise‑Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.
The selected candidate will contribute to a high‑impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission‑critical systems and environments. Due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- 10+ year experience with enterprise identity and access management, with expertise in Microsoft AD DS, ADFS, and ADCS architectures. Strong understanding of zero‑trust identity principles.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility required to start; candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain an active CI Poly once hired.
- Formal ICAM training or vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft identity training/certs, PKI‑related training/certs)
- Experience with certificate‑based MFA and revocation infrastructure. Experience implementing attribute‑based access control (ABAD) and claims‑based access control modules
Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
