The ideal candidate will have a technical background and a passion for organization, enabling them to effectively track, document, and support the lifecycle of advanced software development and integration projects.
You will be a key individual contributor, responsible for providing analytical support, facilitating communication, and ensuring project objectives are met in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform operational duties such as organizing tasks, tracking progress, gathering information, and ensuring execution of engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical leads to track software development and integration tasks within an Agile framework, utilizing tools like Confluence, Jira, and Git Lab.
- Collect and organize project data to support analysis, reporting, and recommendations on project health and status.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis, translating technical progress and challenges into clear business insights.
- Perform project management tasks, including tracking schedules, maintaining action items, and updating all project documentation.
- Assist in translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements, user stories, workflows, and use cases under senior guidance.
- Identify gaps, risks, or dependencies in the project plan and elevate them to the Project Manager as appropriate.
- Prepare clear, action-orientated meeting materials that capture key technical notes, decisions, and follow-up needs.
- Summarize key technical information and produce briefing materials for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct stakeholder interactions and engagement activities under the direction of senior guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate and align related work streams.
- US citizenship
- Active TS security clearance and SCI/CI Polygraph eligible.
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in project management, cybersecurity, stakeholder engagement, communications or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site 3-5 days per week in Fairfax, VA and Springfield, VA.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with project management concepts (coursework/certifications a plus).
