Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite Dev Ops Engineer to join a government consulting firm based in Springfield, VA. The Dev Ops engineer will work on cutting-edge cloud platforms to support the intelligence community. Responsibilities of the Dev Ops Engineer includes:
* Build, automate, and maintain secure AWS (C2S/Gov Cloud) cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support scalable and repeatable environments
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems, applications, and network layers
* Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deployments
* Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Cloud Watch and Kibana Qualifications of the Dev Ops Engineer includes:
* Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree plus 12 years of experience OR a minimum of 15 years of experience
* Strong experience with AWS (C2S or Gov Cloud), CI/CD tools, and Dev Ops practices
* Proficiency in Linux systems, networking, and system administration
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with OS installation, configuration, and performance tuning
* Ability to resolve complex system issues and communicate/escalate effectively
* Must hold an active US Government TS/SCI CI Poly clearance Compensation of the Dev Ops Engineer Includes:
