Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to develop,maintain, andoptimizesystem configuration processes, ensuringaccurateconfiguration control, system integrity, and compliance throughout the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Develop andmaintainconfiguration management plans, policies, and procedures.
Manage configuration baselines, change requests, and system documentation.
Analyze configuration issues and recommend process improvements.
Coordinate configuration changes with engineering and project teams.
Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
Support software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Prepare configuration status reports and documentation for project leadership .

Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Excel and Visio

Required qualifications:

TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in Configuration Management or a related technical field.
Knowledge of configuration management principles, change control, and version control.
Experience maintaining technical documentation and configuration baselines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with cross-functional engineering or IT teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired

Qualifications:

Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
Familiarity with CMII, EIA-649, or other Configuration Management standards.
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of automated configuration management and CI/CD tools.
Relevant certifications such as Security+ CE, ITIL Foundation, CMII, or PMP .
