Azure Cloud Engineer

New Gen is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with the following background. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing secure enclave environments within Microsoft Azure. Ensuring the stability, performance, and security of Azure enclave systems. Deploying Azure resources using Azure Pipelines such as Azure Virtual Machines, Key Vaults, and other core Azure resources. Monitoring and maintaining Azure infrastructure, addressing performance issues, and optimizing cloud resources.

Implementing and managing Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines. Managing identity/access management (IAM) policies, ensuring least privilege access across enclave systems. Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Troubleshooting complex issues within Azure environments, providing escalation support as needed. Documenting configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes. Azure AVD image building and rotation. Designing, developing, deploying, and managing container orchestration through Kubernetes.

Configuring and managing Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and the underlying infrastructure. Automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Providing support in assisting customers installing software onto baseline desktops using an automation first mentality (DSC or Packer).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud administration and development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Experience working in secure enclave environments and familiarity with security compliance frameworks. Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure Dev Ops, ARM templates.

Proficiency in Power Shell and other scripting languages.
