Currently at Babel we are looking for a senior profile specialized in Storage and Backup.

Functions:

• The main mission of the position will be to guarantee the correct operation, maintenance, and evolution of the storage and backup platforms, ensuring their availability, performance, and compliance with the established service levels.
• Management, monitoring, and optimization of storage infrastructures, ensuring their performance and availability.
• Administration of backup platforms, including the management of policies, reviews of copies, restorations, and control of data integrity.
• Management of incidents and problems related to storage and backup platforms, participating in the analysis and resolution of complex problems.
• Execution of maintenance tasks, including updates, patching, and evolution of the platforms.
• Specialized technical support to other operation and infrastructure teams in aspects related to storage and data protection.
• Elaboration of technical reports and status of the platforms, including aspects of capacity, performance, and compliance with backup policies.
• Participation in initiatives for improvement and technological evolution of storage and data protection platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in administration of enterprise storage platforms, preferably in Dell EMC, Net App, or Hitachi environments.
• Experience in backup platforms, mainly Commvault and Veeam.
• Additional knowledge in Avamar will be valued.
• Experience in N2 operation environments or managed services, preferably in multi-client environments.
• Knowledge or experience in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), especially in services related to storage and backup, will be valued.
