Systems​/DevOps Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Systems/Dev Ops Engineer to support an IC program based in Springfield, VA
. This position is a full-time role that will be onsite
. The IC Program provides initial deployment and coordination of site support for client deployments, including HPC programs and other critical initiatives, as well as support for the Core team. This position is critical to standing up and maintaining administrative and console network infrastructure to support ATO efforts within a highly secure mission environment.

• Support deployment and administration of Unix/Linux-based systems in support of site deployments.
• Stand up, configure, and maintain administrative and console network infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance deployment automation and configuration management processes.
• Utilize scripting and software development skills to automate operational and system administration tasks.
• Manage and maintain SELinux configurations and security controls across enterprise environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git Lab CI and related Dev Ops tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and site personnel to coordinate deployments and operational support.
• Implement and maintain configuration management solutions using Ansible and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and deployment issues in mission-critical environments.
• Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
• Security+ Certification
• 5+ years of experience with a combination of SELinux, scripting/software development, and configuration management
• High proficiency with Python, Perl, Korn Shell, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting languages
• Demonstrated expertise with revision control systems including CVS, SVN, Git, Git Lab, and Git Lab CI
• Proven experience developing and managing Dev Ops deployment automation processes
• Strong experience administering and supporting Unix/Linux environments
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills

Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000
* depending on experience*
